    The full picture

Copper Tripeptide-1 (GHK-Cu) is one of the most-studied bioactive peptides in dermatology. It is naturally present in human plasma at higher concentrations in younger adults and declines with age. Topically it has documented effects on collagen synthesis, glycosaminoglycan production, antioxidant defense, and wound remodeling. The blue-green color of GHK-Cu makes it visually distinctive in formulas. Found in numbuzin's 50-peptide complex among other K-beauty firming products.

    Evidence

Topical copper peptides have been shown in clinical research to improve wrinkle depth, firmness, and skin thickness over 8 to 12 weeks.
